Media Arts Collaborative Charter School (MACCS) Advance Music Production Class was inspired by a fellow student’s Heroin Overdose to make an album raising awareness about drugs in New Mexico. Generation Justice Youth Producer Jazlin Mendoza sat down with the students and teacher to learn more about their project. The show will also feature songs off of their Album.  

The Heroin Awareness Committee (HAC) has been actively bringing attention to the Heroin and Opiate addiction epidemic. Generation Justice’s Melissa Harris sat down with Co-Founder and HAC President Jennifer Weiss about the organization and what they do and wish to do in the community.
