6.8.14 APD Update and Remembering Maya Angelou [Radio] – Generation Justice

On this show we’ll hear the community perspective on the sit-in and arrests at the Albuquerque mayor’s office Monday June 2. Mary Jobe, whose husband and father of their three children was killed unjustly by the police, and was at the protest, joins us on the show. Dinah Vargas, co-founder of the Cop Block chapter in Albuquerque will also be here to provide an update.

We’ll also commemorate the life of Maya Angelou with music throughout the show written by or inspired by her work, and several Generation Justice members discuss their favorite Maya Angelou quotes.
