9.28.14 – People’s Climate March [Radio] – Generation Justice

How could mainstream news outlets fail to cover history’s largest climate march? In fact, according to a Media Matters study, the Sunday shows on NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox spent only a combined 27 minutes on the topic of climate change in all of 2013. Generation Justice is joined by Javier Benavidez, Executive Director of the SouthWest Organizing Project, Monica Cordova, Program Director of The Funders’ Collaborative on Youth Organizing, and Michael Leon Guerrero, Interim National Coordinator of Our Power Campaign to share their thoughts and impressions from the march. Also, our New York Correspondent, Luna Olavarria Gallegos, reports from the People’s Climate March.
