This week, we take you to “Supporting a Safe Campus Environment: Preventing Gun Violence and Racism,” a community forum hosted by the UNM College of Population Health in partnership with entities across campus and the community.

Speakers: Dr. Nina Wallerstein, Director of the Center for Participatory Research and professor with the UNM College of Population Health; former Poet Laureate of Santa Fe, Valerie Martinez; Carol Pearce, Director of Family & Community Services for the City of Albuquerque; Gilbert Ramírez, Deputy Director for Health Programs for the City of Albuquerque; Detective Tish Young, of the UNM Police Department; Diana Lopez, Health Promotion Specialist with the NM Department of Health; and, Riazullah Alkozai, GJ Intern and Community Liaison.
