On March 30, 2010, I interviewed Tara Ford, a lawyer at Pegasus Legal Services for Children about her views on social justice and why she chose to work with children. Tara has been working with children for years representing them in all walks of life. Her work expands from working with children that are in foster homes to children with disabilities.
At the Cesar Chavez march, on March 27th, 2010, A KUNM Youth Radio Member Abby Magnus, interviewed the Executive Director of the National Hispanic Cultural Center, Estevan Rael-Galvez. In this particular interview, Lucia Martinez speaks to Michael Casaus, who is the Regional Director of the Sierra Club and the Co-Chair for the Recuerda a Cesar Chavez Committee. The RCCC actually organizes the annual Cesar Chavez day march and celebration and was founded in 1933.
