Academic Achievement

Generation Justice activities help to enhance the academic learning experience. Journalism and media fieldwork rely heavily on literacy skills, technology, communication and other skills that are part of the Common Core Standards in schools. By combining media analysis and media arts production together, youth participants gain experience and enhanced learning that help prepare youth to succeed in academic areas. A majority of youth members attain their high school degree and attend college or enroll in continued professional development and learning opportunities.
