Carson Lafferty

carson_bioLafferty is currently a Generation Justice Intern through the UNM CEC AmeriCorps program. He graduated in May of 2014 from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO with his B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Native American Indigenous Studies. He has been a youth producer with the KUNM Youth Radio Project/Generation Justice since 2007.

He recently moved back to Albuquerque and is looking to either try to continue working with AmeriCorps or other non-profit organizations or focus his efforts on law school here at UNM.

Carson is Native American and is half Navajo and half Lakota. His mother, Roseline Wilson Ebaugh, who passed away, was a well known KUNM volunteer with the Singing Wire program. Those who listened to her remember her as “Radio Rose.”
